Description

Redwoods get their name from the attractive reddish-brown bark which is soft, thick, fibrous, and fire resistant. In cultivation outside of its native habitat, Sequoias will grow smaller, typically to 60-90’ tall. 'Aptos Blue' is a fast growing pyramid-shaped tree with horizontal branching and pendant, loose, graceful branchlets holding dense, dark blue-green flat, needle-like leaves. Can be planted as a hedge or in groves.
